Mo' Poe???

Remember all of the grand concept albums of the 70s??

On this date (9/11) in 1976, Alan Parsons Project had their first top 40, with "The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether". This was from APP's "Tales Of Mystery And Imagination", a concept album based on stories by Edgar Allan Poe. By coincidence, I just downloaded this album, and the subsequent "I Robot" (based on the Issac Asminov story) from I-Tunes. Gotta say, I Robot is hugely better. Oh yeah, "System of D. Tarr...." peaked at #37.
