But that was back in the late 70's. Interesting aside, I ran over a racoon just past Beechwood Farms back in 1980-ish. The only animal I've ever run over. It was about 4 in the morning, and I was headed home from a long night out (but not drinking). Rounded the bend and there he (she?) was, just staring at me. I think I had it "whoa-ed down" to about 45 before I hit it. It made a huge THUMP. I felt bad, but I'm pretty sure I killed it quick, at least. At least it wasn't a deer!

OK, that wasn't a very pleasant image....LSqrdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01752446621183734182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7916868.post-1147985844121626072006-05-18T15:57:00.000-05:002006-05-18T15:57:00.000-05:00i like beechwood. i could walk to there and then w...i like beechwood. i could walk to there and then walk it and get some nice exercise, but, oh well, lazy and afraid of getting an SUV's fender up my ... no sidewalks!Sherry Pasquarellohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06107407102753464356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7916868.post-1147959956745748472006-05-18T08:45:00.000-05:002006-05-18T08:45:00.000-05:00Very cool, Sherry!!
