Tucsarora Rock
An oldie, but a personal fav. Probably the first time I laid onthe ground to get a shot.... Canon TX SLR. 35mm slide, scanned, adjustments in Photoshop Elements 2.0
I tell friends about this rock, no one believes me, and when I explain what's involved to see it, they don't want to go. SHeesh, it's about a half hour in from the trail head, IIRC, but the three hour drive is the event killer.
Just send your friend over here, they can see what you're talking about!!
I hope it's still there. There would be something very WRONG about anybody trying to take it. I recall same as you, it's probably less than an hour from the trailhead. But you've been there since I have (barely).
Sounds like a great idea, MikeW!! I was poking on the internet, looked like the trail closed for a while due to lack of support, but has reopened??? Not sure, though...

ReplyDeleteOf course, for all I know, it could be on someone's endtable in McConnellsburg. I haven't been up there in 25 years or so.
