On this date (12/15) in 1988, the Godfather of Soul, James Brown, was sentenced to six years in prison after leading police on an interstate car chase. He was released on Feb. 27, 1991. JB's had some other brushes with the law., and something like 8 arrests. But ya gotta love the music!
