I was driving home from NW Indiana the other day, and decided to deviate from my “normal” route of I-55 from Chicago to St. Louis. I cut down I-57 past Kankakee, then across a little 2-lane (Rt 54) to Springfield. Doing the “Blue Highways” thing. It was a nice road, made pretty good time… And, about halfway across the route, I came across this barn along the road…. IIRC, this was a little town called Bellflower... give or take 20 miles.....

Love this "late" posting. The barn and its weathered look make an interesting shot.
i like it. i like the colors but the place is so flat. i just can't get over that fact. i'd go crazy.
well, crazier. ; )
I liked the "Blue Highways" book, and others of it's kind. Have you read "Travels With Charley" by Steinbeck? It's my favorite "road trip" book.
