From a lunch time walk yesterday, enjoying the cooler weather. There's a corn field jusst 1/4 mile or so from the office, pretty typical for are area. About 10-12 acres sandwiched between office buildings and neighborhoods. That's one of the things that really struck me when we moved out her (so many years ago!), pretty typical to have fields nestled around suburbia. Of course, each year there's a bit more suburbuia, and a bit less crops, but I guess that's just the nature of things.
Anyway, this corn is close to ready to harvest. I'm I'm pretty sure it is feed corn, so it'll need to dry a bit longer...
