My photography is less about events than about what remains when they pass. I’m interested in restraint, attention, and the subtle ways everyday environments hold memory without asking for interpretation.
I remember that show! TP was leaning over the mike stand as the band played "Breakdown," muttering "I don't want to talk about it" over and over, until he looked up, put his hands on his hips and said, "You know, I really don't want to talk about it" and walked off stage. A few minutes later he reentered, stage left, crouched down and madly puffing a handful of cigarettes, making him look like a small steam engine. IIRC, Sammy Hagar warmed up? I seem to recall a short bass player with a square head.
