A Spot To Sit and Think A Bit....
So, sit I did. Or should I say sat? This is the lobby of a Hyatt Hotel in Shaumburg, IL, the Chicago suburbs. We were there for meetings, and I finished a while before my wife. So I hung out here, and pondered.
Nope. 'Fraid I don't know enough about architecture.... I do know who FLW was, though. The lamps were pleasant enough, sitting as the sun set, especially during the transition between the fading of the natural light and the time that the "real" overhead's kicked in. In other words, the illusion (and the illumination) sufficed, even if the allusion did not.

Did you ponder over how much the hotel paid for those fake Frank Lloyd Wright lamps?
