Being There
A super-cool song make it's entry to the Top 40 today (2/17) in 1973. "Also Sprach Zartustra" by Deodato. Better known as the "Jazz" Theme from 2001, this is the jazz-fusion version of Richard Straus's classical piece. I remember hearing this on the radio as a not-quite-13 year old, and being blown away. The Deodato version was featured prominantly in the movie "Being There", when Chance-the-Gardener discovers the world outside.... reat song, great movie!
