One of the best known songs of the seventies, The Eagles' "Hotel California" hit the charts today (3/12) back in 1977. It reaced #1 (of course), and spent 15 weeks on the charts. Hotel California was one of five #1 songs for the Eagles (through 1982, at least), and was the second #1 from the Hotel California album.
