Looking across Nickajack Lake, towards Haletown, TN and the Lee Highway Bridge. This was taken from the I-24 rest-stop on the west side of Nickajack Lake. I've driven across this lake (which is just a dam-ed up portion of the Tennessee River) dozens of times, but had never stopped at the rest stop until last month. Nikon D70.

What's a Nickajack?

I love the color of this shot, not black and white, but not quite sepia.
Thanks Lauren!! This was a kind of "blah" day, solid grey skies but still hazy, not leaves on the trees yet. A color version would've been pretty bland.... Larger version can be seen at:
