Romeo and Juliet, Are Together In Eternity....
Yep, that cheerful little song about suicide, "Don't Fear The Reaper", made its Top 40 debut today (9/4) in 1976. This was Blue Oyster Cult's first Top 40 hit, and remains one of the staples of Classic Rock Radio. BOC was a fun band, when they didn't take themselves too seriously.
