On this date (10/30) back in 1971, on hit wonder Coven had their chart debut with "One Tin Soldier". Subtitled the legend of Billy Jack, this preachy song tells the story of factions warrign over a treasure, slaughtering each other for what ends up to be a plaque saying "Peace on Earth".... Spare me. I rememebr the movie (Billy Jack) better than the song, one of thoses "nice guy gets pushed too far and whips up on all the bad folks" kind of things.
