At least some of the interstate rest areas along I-80 in Iowa have hiking trails. On the plus side, it’s a really great break from the highway, a chance to breathe deep and stretch the legs. On the other hand, every minute not rolling is more than a mile not recorded. Regardless, I found this fence just a little ways off the official path.... .
