peacefullness first-rate
Highland Cemetery, not too far behind where I work. After 16 or so years, I drove out that way recently, just to see what it looked like. The title, btw, is from the subject line of a recent spam email. At leas tI presume it was spam, I didn't open it. I’m going to start using these semi random words and phrases occasionally, just an homage to our evolving internet culture…. .

this is nice. it's not quite black and white, but i don't think it's sepia, how did you do it?
"how did I do it?"....
that's kinda like asking a chef for the recipe!
A little of this, a little of that... The goal is to emulate Sepia toning, like I did back in my darkroom days. It's not hard in software, with the proper color layer and the right blending...
it would be easier to give you a recipe, ho, ho!
true story, when my late mother-in-law would be asked for a recipe she would ALWAYS leave something out or not give out the right measurements for the dish. then when it wouldn't turn out as good as hers, she'd just smile and let people think she was the better cook!
me, my grandparents taught me to cook when i was about 9 or so and i am flattered when asked for a recipe that someone enjoyed. i always do my best to give them the correct recipe and i give all credit to my late grandparents for teaching me.
my mother-in-law was something else!
The only food I make that would interest anyone is Chilli. And that's one of those things that doesn't really have a formal recipe, it really is a little of this and a little of that. I tried to document it for my sister in law, she does a pretty good version....
