Digging Deep In The Archives...
From way back in 2003, from a late October visit to McAdams Peak, in Pere Marquette State Park. At 372 ft above the Illinois River, it seems a rather modest hill, but "Peak" it is.... That's the Illinois River in the background, just a bit north of the confluence with the Mississippi..
