My wife and I spent most of today at scount camp w/our 10 y/o son. It rained most of the day, which turned the campground into a bit of a mudhole. But everybody still seemed to have a good time, in between bouts of cold & wet. On the other hand, I'm glad that we had previously decided not to camp out: a warm (dry) bed will be nice after 10 hours in the elements...

Mud

I don't believe you can call yourself a camper unless you've been through at least one rained-on camping trip. Now he's got one to reminisce about on future camping trips!
