The monkeys seem willing to strike up the tune
Hitting the charts today, 11/30, back in 1974: "Bungle In The Jungle" by Jethro Tull. Bubgle peaked at #12. Even though I like Jethro Tull, I awlays thought this particular song was kinda stupid. But it's got some great flute in it.....
Yes, and he could "flaut" in with flair!! My daughters both have played flute (1 still does), and I'm the kind of dad who plays the solo from "Locomotive Breath" at them, at full volume, with a "just listen to this"!!! They just roll their eyes.

Anyway, IIRC, you much preferred it when the Monkees seemed willing to strike up a tune.
