My photography is less about events than about what remains when they pass. I’m interested in restraint, attention, and the subtle ways everyday environments hold memory without asking for interpretation.

You Really Got Me!
58 years ago today (1947), Dave Davies, guitar player with the Kinks, is born.
On a related note, I've been to both brother's solo shows. Both were enjoyable. Ray gave a musical lecture, but Dave's was a good old drunken bar sing-a-long, much more entertaining, and full of all the great tunes, including ones that aren't heard that often, like "Bernadette" and "This Man He Weeps Tonight"

And the world of rock'n'roll was changed forever
I like to listen to the guitar on the really old Kinks songs, really great stuff, especially in the context of the time...

My brother saw DD a few years ago, spoke quite highly of the experience......
