Funky Kicks Goin' Down In The City....
On this date (5/14) in 1977, Steve Miller Band's hit "Jet Airliner" made it's debut. SMB dominated the hit airwaves in '76 & '77, and was an FM staple all decade. Jet Airliner reached #8 on the charts. I remember the first time I heard the AM edit, family friendly version, with Funky KICKS substituted....
