Towering
This is from a couple months ago… Every place has to have a landmark, I suppose, coming into Highland IL, it’s the microwave tower. Visible from miles away, on the town’s threshold when coming in Rt 143 from the interstate….…. . .
there's one, by the fc field club i think that because it's in the ritzy section, is disquised(ha)with plastic sort of weird alien like pine branches(i think)it looks ok when all the rest of the area has leaves, looks really odd when they are gone at the end of fall! : )
Disguised cell towers are all the rage. We have one in our local park that's supposedto look like a flag pole. At least it has a flag at the to.... but it's probably 6-foot in diameter!
