I was in Peru the other day. Not the country Peru, the city, as in Peru, Illinois. Anyway, I had a little extra time, and drove the road along the Illinois River, over to Ottawa. Not Ottawa, Canada, but Ottawa, Illinois. It’s a pretty cool drive, I enjoyed the frozen river. I saw a few Bald Eagles, but none close enough to photograph.

From Peru to Ottawa

Hope you had your passport...heehee
When I used to be an over-the-road trucker, I once drove from Chicago to El Paso without leaving Illinois!
