Southern Illinois
Taken a short diustance, and a short time before yesterday's post. Also in Southern Illinois, between Metropolis and Vienna. If nothing else, this proves that Illinois is not completely flat! Interstate I-25 is about 5 miles straight ahead, but you really can't get there from here. At least not directly. Which was kind of the whole point of our drive.
