Born on the Bayou?

Happy birthday to John Fogarty, born on this day 63 years ago (11/9/1941). John was the heart and soul of Creedence Clearwater Revival, of course.

Tell me about it. Thank goodness we're never too old to rock and roll..... Although Root Boy Slim's "My Wig Fell Off" also comes to mind:

"Trying to pass for eighteen, Is a tough thing to do, You can't make it in the disco, When you're forty-two, I been lookin' for love, Every disco in town, My wig's gettin' shaky, My truss is slipping down............ My wig fell off, Hand my toupee to me, I'm quitting the disco, I'm almost forty-three"

Yes, I think vague is the operative word. There's nothing quite like a
Root Boy concert, thank goodness.

And now, Root Boy is another decomposing composer.
