Early Morning Blues and Greens....

Upper Potomac River, early in the morning. From the front of a canoe. A purely peaceful moment, just after we pushed off, headed downstream towards Little Orleans. This is an oldie, taken with my Nikon FM2 SLR, scanned from the original 8x10 print.

Thanks, MikeW!! Yes it was a great trip, that's probably why this has long been a favorite photo of mine. I have a small version on my office wall, good for a snip of peacefull during the hectic days.

I mistitle this, actually. It's been previously "released" under 2 other titles, most recently "Take The Water", which is, of course, another Poco reference!

IIRC, we got horribly sunburned, and were chased downriver by a band of redneckas armed with drawn butter who mistook us for huge lobsters.

Well, at least some of us. Others were smart enough to keep shirts on. I've got several other good shots from that trip, but I can't find them lately.....
