"Day After Day" by Badfinger hit the charts today in 1971 (12/19). This is another of those outstanding songs from the early 70's, and made it to #4 on the pop charts. A great band that looked to be on the verge, with "Day anfter Day", "No Matter What" and "Come and Get It", they would fade quickly from the charts, perhaps doomed by the business end of rock and roll.
