The area around Pullman WA / Moscow ID is called the Palouse region, lots of rolling hills. If you have a chance to drive south, after 30 miles or so, you come aound a bend and suddenly there's this great drop off. They call it Lewiston Hill, but it's a 2000' dropoff!!
