YAWN.....

The most notable song to make it’s Top 40 debut on this day (4/29) in 1978 was “2 out of 3 Ain’t Bad”, by Meatloaf. I’m not a big fan of this song, even the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s county version is unconvincing. Not exactly a romantic masterpiece: “I want you, I need you, But there ain’t no way I'm ever gonna love you. Now don’t be sad, cause 2 out of 3 ain’t bad”. What woman wouldn't be swept off her feet by THAT sentiment?
