What If You Knew Her, And Found Her Dead On The Ground??
Thirty Five years ago today (7/11/1970) Crosby Stills Nash & Young hit the charts with one of the most powerful protest songs of the day: "Ohio". Written about the Kent State "massacre" a mere 2 months earlier, this song really captures the rage and anguish of the early 70's. Of course, I was barely 10 years old that summer, and living in West Virginia, so I had no clue what was going on in the wider world, even as close as Ohio.....
