On this day (9/8) in 1973, Edgar Winter's hit "Free Ride" made it's Top 40 debut. This was the second single from the classic album "They Only Come Out At Night", and is my favorite E.W. song. Also debuting 9/8/73, the Allman Brothers with "Ramblin' Man'".
