Has Your Band Begun To Rust?

Thanks to Netflix, I've finally seen Neil Young's 1979 concert movie, "Rust Never Sleeps". Gotta love it... I remember freshman year of college, when RNS came out, what a great record. And this is a fun film. I never saw NY in concert, except for with the Stills/Young band in early '77 or so... I do have the 1983 Berlin HBO concert, which is also great, but very different (from the Trans" period).

I've never seen the film, but I did see him on this tour. It's one of my favorite concerts of all time.

You scumbag!! How'd you see him and I missed it?? Was it in Pittsburgh?

It was in Cleveland my first semester at Denison. The show was awesome. There was no opening act - the first 45 minutes was just Neil on stage alone with an acoustic guitar and a harmonica. Then the band joined him to rock for about 2 hours.

I suppose Neil Y. would be worth going to Cleveland for... especially in his late 70's "configuration".
