6/365 - January Rain

Low 30's and rain, a rather gross Sunday.  Weather report says it'll turn to freezing rain at some point.   I took a few shots in the back yard, looking for something for my 365project.  The one above is the one I decided on.  But it was a close decision between that one and this one:

I like the bokeh in both...  The top one has a bit more color, and you can perceive the rain...But I rather like the more abstract nature of the lower one....  So did I make the right call?  or wrong?  Lesser of two evils?  Or Dumb and Dumber?
