Skink?
Wandering around Pleasant Ridge Park today, I noticed this fellow poking his head out of a hole in a dead tree. He wasn't very cooperative, I only manged this slightly blurry image before he retreated. (Pardon the anthropomorphism, and gender presumption).
I think it's a skink, but not really sure. Maybe a lizard?
