Double Yuck...

Happy Birthday (1/22) to Steve Perry (of Journey) and Marvin Lee Aday. Marv would go on to become Meatloaf, who peaked with his role as Eddie in Rocky Horror Picture Show, went downhill after that. Both Journey and Meatloaf were really popular when I was in college... But mainly with girls who were trying to prove their Rock n Roll bona-fides. I never had muct use for either. And I still think Steve Perry is actually Barry Manilow's little brother.

Hot Patootie, Bless My Soul is a great rock tune. "My hands kinda fumbled with her white plastic belt" What a great line! And don't get me started on "Paradise by the Dashboard Light!"

I never go anywhere without my Meatloaf! - just in case of emergency! Albums, 8-tracks, cassettes, and now cd's. My own personal fountain of youth.....

Well, thatnks for the input (and visit) Bear!! From your thumbnail photo, looks like that fountain of youth is working!! Maybe I should hit i-Tunes and get myself some Meatloaf!

Double Yuck? Are you crazy? Steve Perry is a God. Steve Perry is lying beside you, here in the dark, feeling his heart beat with yours. He's got open arms, mister, and he's not afraid to caress. That says a lot about one of the world's greatest rockers.
