thanks for the kind words, Sherry!

This shot was taken around noon, on a cloudless day. Key was, I'm facinhg north, in February. So the sun was pretty low, and behind me. That helps the "blue-ness". But I also accentuated it by running it through a posterizing filter, reducing the whole photo to 6-8 tones, so the sky would be all 1 shade, w/ no graduations.....

Does that make sense???

not to me, but i'm not a photographer. i just know what pleases my eyes and what doesn't. your things do, especially the black and white.

is it ok that i put some of your photos on my screen saver slide thingy? i will delete them if not. i know that your photos are like my poems to you. they must be, so if you'd rather i didn't i will more than understand. have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks again for the kind words, Sherry!! wrt the images.... errrrr... well.... I'm ok with the "personal use" you noted, and rather flattered. But anything commercial is off limits, of course!!

know that your photos are like my poems to you.... That puts it nicely. I'm enjoying you writings, though I'm not well "versed" in such things....

thanks, no, i'd never use your photos for anything but my screensaver thing, it is like a slide show and different images appear and change so i have people and places and photos and paintings and pictures of sculpture and silly saying, just things to keep me happy. thanks.
