In the stillness of winter

Down at Miner Park, where I’ve been releasing our captured mice. This is looking up the stream. Very similar to an old favorite of mine, taken in 2/2004, below: The same.... but different....

The one from 2 years ago is really nice but I like the moodyness of this current shot. Black and white was the right choice for it.

i like the bottom one the best. i think it's the water and the thin layer that contrasts the sheen of the water, not sure but it's beautiful.

i got a digital camera for christmas. it just came! i'm working on learning how to use it.
it's a kodak easy share dual lens v570? wish me luck! ; )

Thanks!!

Good luck with the camera, Sherry! I had an Easyshare for a couple years, it should do you fine.

Just remember the "rule of thords" and you'll be fine!! (and remember that rules are often best when broken).
