Another from last week's drive across Illinois. Taken at the Des Plaines State Fish And Wildlife Area... Taken about 200' from the flower photo posted earlier, and the same area as Wood's Edge. This is not really driftwood, but a drad tree stump along the shore of the Kankakee River.
This is one of several shots I took of the wood. I think it's my favorite. At least for now. But I'm not exactly sure. sigh. I'll most likely post the others.
