Layered


Yet another from the Joplin trip.  Looks like this room had at least 5 layers of wallpaper....  None look particularly recent...

I'm not sure whwn the house was built, but one clue is an old fire station across the street (now The Joplin Host Lions Club).  According to the internet, that building was built in 1939.  The drain pipe from the toilet and was lead.  It appears lead drain pipes were common before 1925.  Anybody an expert on dating old buildings?
