Maverick....

OK, in my "Sh-Boom" post, I talked about my friend from high school who had a Ford Maverick. At MikeW's prodding, I dug thourgh the old photo-albums and found the picture. IIRC this was before I had my license, so it's early '76 at the latest. A mere 30 years ago... Ah, but it was a sweet time, though. Meanwhile, GaryW, shown here, was the guy whi got me interested in 35mm, taught me the basics of B&W processing in the school's darkroom. THANKS Gary, wherever you are!

oh my god! my daughter's first car was a 74 maverick that her dad redid for her. he painted it black, and relly fixed up the engine! she was in love with it. she still talks about some day getting another and restoring it.
she drove it all thru high school and back and forth every day to duquesne u. many times she's be on 28 and guys wanted to try to race her.(she wouldn't) it was a sharp little car!

My best friend in high school had a 75 Maverick. We went to Panama city Beach in it right after graduation. Thanks for the memeory

I kinda like this picture. The compositiion isn't too bad, especially since I didn't have a CLUE. I'd never even HEARD od rule-of-thirds at that point!
